Bacteriostatic Water (BacW) is sterile water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It's used to reconstitute (dissolve) peptide powders before injection. Without it, your peptide cannot be administered. Most peptide vials are lyophilized (freeze-dried) and must be mixed with BacW before use.

Unreconstituted peptide vials (freeze-dried powder) should be stored in the refrigerator (2–8°C) and kept away from light. Once reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water, store in the refrigerator and use within 28–30 days. Never freeze a reconstituted peptide.

Use a clean alcohol swab to wipe the vial cap. Draw your desired amount of Bacteriostatic Water into a syringe. Inject the BacW slowly down the side of the vial — do not spray directly onto the powder. Gently swirl (do not shake) until fully dissolved. The solution should be clear.
